Use of the service

You may use Shield Deskonly in accordance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and encryption keys. Because the service is zero-knowledge, keys lost outside your organisation's recovery policy may render associated content unrecoverable.

Customer data and responsibility

You retain all rights to the content you create and store. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any personal or special-category data you place in the service, and for configuring access controls appropriately for your compliance obligations.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service secure and available, but provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update features and these terms from time to time; we will make material changes clear.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shield Desk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
